Project Control Officer
Type: Contract

Description:

World class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire is currently looking to recruit a Project Control Officer.

The candidate must be eligible for UK MoD clearance for access to the appropriate security level.

The contract is initially for 6 months (ongoing after).

The rate on offer is negotiable.

Job Description:

  • The Project Control Officer provides support for a range of deliverables within a task area. Typically, the project control officer discharges their responsibility through the Production Programme Manager in accordance with project control methodologies.
  • The Project Control Officer within the Manufacturing area must be flexible with the respect to taking on the challenges of a development contract and the unique challenges that it brings.
  • Support the PMM and Head of Manufacturing as required in the delivery of the following activities
  • Act as a prime focus for the Lostock project team within the Development environment.
  • Maintain the manufacturing hardware matrix. Highlight key areas of concern i.e.. Late delivery of MEP etc.
  • Become the prime manufacturing interface for all the supplied hardware which may influence the manufacturing teams deliverables.
  • Provide, understand and present information at internal reviews (IDTs,F/Plan) and meetings(KMS,War Room)
  • Assist the team with Risk and Opportunity management
  • Assist in the compilation of manufacturing cost at completion
  • To provide high quality reports and information to the Core Team in a timely manner inc. weekly/monthly reports and presentations
  • Assist in the compilation and analysis of workload forecast
  • Compilation and maintenance of project programmes and schedules
  • Maintain and improve the interface with external departments
  • Update and maintain all relevant in assigned areas.
