Description:
Business Development into Defence and other government agencies. Promoting the company’s capabilities in Information Systems application development, secure software system and multimedia application development. The company’s services range from consultancy, through systems design, implementation and support. There are also some niche products in the portfolio.
Demonstrable previous success in winning this type of business is highly desirable. |

Good knowledge of and contacts in a wide range of relevant customer organisations in defence, government or other agencies employing secure software applications and multimedia applications. |
Worked into ISTAR organisations in MoD particularly on programmes such as DABINETT, government communications centre (GCHQ), Home Office organisations such as SOCA and other MoD organisations such as JSSU Digby, JARIC etc. |

Proven business development skills including:
- Previous successful track record of sales
- Previous track record of complex sales
- Opportunity development to closure inclusive
- Good knowledge of government stakeholders
- identifying and building relationships with potential customers;
- assisting customers in developing relevant requirements;
- working with technical and commercial staff to develop formal and informal bids and tender documents;
- strong presentational and or interpersonal skills.

- Technical/engineering background
- Current SC clearance (higher level clearance preferred)
- Armed forces experience
- Familiar with campaign planning processes.
- Previously worked for companies such as Fujitsu, Logica, IBM, Detica or an IT consulting business.
