MASS Wins Important Renewals to Air Warfare Centre Contracts
MASS has recently been awarded a 5-year contract by the MoD to provide software maintenance of the nationís Defence Electronic Warfare Database. The fact that MASS won a hotly contested competition to support the UKís primary Electronic Warfare database in the Defence EW Centre, demonstrates a class-leading level of software engineering expertise and proven value for money. The new contract, which follows on immediately from our existing 12 year tenure, cements MASSí position as a trusted provider of specialist engineering support to the Air Warfare Centre and Defence EW Centre. The new contract embraces MASS as a managed service provider delivering strategic vision to the future course of the Centreís software application infrastructure. This service will be provided by a team software engineers and an on site manager who are looking forward to providing an enhanced level of service to the Air Warfare Centreís staff and customers.
MASS has recently been awarded a 3-year contract by the MoD for the provision of Hardware, Software and Infrastructure support to the Air Warfare Centre, RAF Waddington. This contract will provide 5 permanent on-site technical staff delivering systems administration services across a range of environments, including UNIX, OpenVMS, Microsoft Windows and Cisco, as well as configuration management services and subject matter expertise. As the incumbent for the past 5 years, this new contract will enable us to continue to work with and support the Air Warfare Centre, and to continuously improve the levels of service and expertise delivered.
