MASS Finds the Path for Pathfinder

In perfect walking weather, a team of five from MASS recently completed the Pathfinder March and raised £250 for SSAFA, the armed forces charity.  The Pathfinder March is a commemoration of the role played by the Pathfinder Force in the Second World War, and comprises a 46 mile route taking in the four main airfields used by the Pathfinders from 1943-45: Wyton, Warboys, Graveley and Oakington.  The team completed the 46 miles in under the permitted 20 hours, having started at 4am and finishing at 6pm.

MASS was one of the first signatories to the Corporate Covenant and a Silver Award winner of the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.  We are a proud supporter of our Armed Forces and staff regularly undertake fundraising activities to support charities aligned with our business.  In recent years money has been raised for Help for Heroes, Combat Stress, and SSAFA.

Ashley Lane, Managing Director of MASS, said "We are pleased to support staff fundraising for such worthwhile causes.  With a third of our staff coming from an ex-military background, supporting SSAFA is a logical choice."
