MASS has current skills in the design, development and accreditation of encryption devices.
SDT-500 Encryptor (BIDC/5000/1)
As part of the ATRACKS helicopter data messaging system MASS has developed, entirely in house, the SDT-500 – a lightweight, very low-power, stand-alone encryption device based on the Pritchell II ASIC. The SDT-500, also known as the BIDC/5000/1, is fully accredited by CESG & DSSO to HIGH grade (Top Secret). This encryptor is also qualified for flight in military aircraft.
CFD-900 Fill Gun (BIDC/5000/4)
In conjunction with the SDT-500 encryptor, MASS developed a Common Fill Device CFD-900 as a very low-power Fill Gun specifically for use in harsh, field conditions. Also known as the BIDC/5000/4, it is fully accredited by CESG & DSSO to HIGH grade.
FPGA & VHDL Skills
Associated with current development work, MASS has extensive experience in populating Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) devices using Very High Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language (VHDL ), and designing such devices into compact electronic units.
