MASS has considerable experience in the development and delivery of recording solutions to fulfil defence, government agency and commercial organization requirements. The products span the range from low cost rugged PC based recording and analysis systems through to complex high speed, wide bandwidth recording systems.
The rugged laptop PC data recorder utilises standard serial, Mil-Std 1553 and ethernet interfaces to allow the simultaneous capture of a number of data streams. It possesses two modes of operation: Data Capture and Post Process allowing real time data display and replayed data analysis respectively. The benefits of this system are that it provides a means of independently validating system performance and as such is an essential tool when integrating new equipments onto existing platforms.
At the other end of the scale, MASS has developed a high bandwidth recording system and ground based analysis solution using in-house developed software and COTS recording hardware. The system has been developed so that it utilises a client-server based architecture to control and configure the hardware and can be easily reconfigured to interface to any third party recorders.
