MASS: Creating a culture of continuous learning

Learning and development opportunities are available to all our people at all levels.  Whether it’s developing a new skill to improve performance on the job, or skilling up for the future, we’ve built an environment that enables quick and easy access to learning material, leading to a culture of continuous learning.

For example, we run training programmes for our early-in-career colleagues with the support of training consultants Live and Learn. These programmes are designed to equip our teams and individuals with the right skills for the modern-day challenges of their roles. We also ensure line managers have the environment needed for constructive and engaging conversations that will enable their team’s personal growth and professional development.

With Live and Learns’ expertise and pedigree for designing and delivering personalised training programmes, we are seeing the benefits with the consistent development of our people and how effective they are in their roles.

Lisa Kitchen, Learning and Development Director at Live and Learn commented on the relationship built between the businesses over the years, “We love working with MASS”, she said.

“Having built a working relationship for many years, we have had the opportunity to understand their learning and development needs. This knowledge has allowed us design and deliver the very best learning solutions to their teams”.

Lisa concluded by saying, “We are always so impressed that as an organisation, MASS recognise the importance of continuous learning and invest in each and every team member to raise skills levels”.
