MASS has been recognised for its commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices after receiving a Bronze Excellence Award at the International CSR Excellence Awards.

The international awards programme celebrates organisations that demonstrate leadership in sustainability, ethical operations, community engagement and the delivery of social value. MASS received the Bronze award for the strength and impact of its community outreach programme, which continues to support local initiatives and contribute positively to the wider community.

The awards ceremony took place on 1 June at St Paul’s Cathedral, where Jack Stark, Chief Information Officer, and Amy Butterfill, Senior Business Support Officer, represented the organisation and accepted the award on MASS’s behalf.

Keith Norton, Managing Director, commented on the recognition:

“Winning bronze at the International CSR Excellence Awards is a proud moment for the team. Operating within the defence industry brings a responsibility to deliver innovation and operational excellence in a way that also demonstrates a clear commitment to wider society.

MASS fosters an environment where decisions are guided by strong values, enabling teams to act responsibly and with a forward‑looking mindset. This award reflects the efforts of our people in supporting communities and creating a positive impact beyond day‑to‑day operations.”

As part of this achievement, MASS will be featured as a best practice case study in the upcoming CSR Yearbook published by The Green Organisation, highlighting its approach to delivering meaningful social value.
