MASS unveils new partnership with Silverstone UTC

We are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement to work alongside Silverstone University Technical College (UTC), to deliver a brand-new cyber security course which will be part of its curriculum starting in September.

The partnership precedes the launch of a new cyber course at the technical college which will include six workshops to be delivered by cyber experts from MASS. The focus of the new course is to provide students with a better understanding of cyber threats that are prevalent in today’s world and how to protect against them.

As a company that is always keen to invest in the younger generation, this partnership is further demonstration of our commitment to doing just that. The unveiling of this new partnership is in keeping with other similar relationships we have developed with Longsands college in Cambridgeshire and Air Defence Cadet academy.

Speaking about the new partnership, our Chief Information Officer, Jack Stark, said, “it’s a real honour to work alongside Silverstone UTC, providing a platform for learning that will educate and inform the leaders of tomorrow about cyber, an issue that continues to be critical to the evolution of what our world would look like in the future.”

Neil Patterson, Principal at Silverstone UTC also commented on the new relationship between the two organisations saying, “It was exactly a year ago that this partnership began when MASS brought a car to the UTC for our students to hack.  It’s therefore very gratifying that this has now developed into something far more substantial on an ongoing basis and speaks volumes about MASS’s intent to invest in tomorrow’s workforce today.  We’re very grateful to be working so closely with such a respected, global business.”
